The old adage, "a happy employee is a productive employee" has been proven to be true time and time again. Looking at many of the most
successful companies today, many of them have a wide variety of ways they keep their employees happy and working. While it's true that
raising wages will always make employees happy, there are several other things you can do to ensure their happiness.
According to a report by the National Conference of State Legislatures, child-care issues cause more problems in the workplace than any
other family-related issue. The report found increases in tardiness and absenteeism, with 80 percent of the companies surveyed saying work
days were cut short because of child-care problems.
